The process of organizing interview conversations into reviewable evidence, evaluation findings, comparison context, and decision support.

- Structured interview
An interview using job-related criteria, planned questions, consistent administration, and shared rating guidance across candidates.

- Competency
A job-related pattern of knowledge, skill, ability, behavior, or another characteristic relevant to successful work.

- Interview evidence
A reviewable candidate response or transcript passage connected to a job-related question or evaluation criterion.
Also called: candidate evidence, response evidence
- Evidence-based evaluation
Candidate evaluation that connects findings to defined role criteria and specific, reviewable evidence.
Also called: evidence-backed evaluation, candidate assessment
- Evaluation rubric
Shared guidance describing the evidence expected at different levels of performance for an interview criterion.
Also called: interview rubric, rating guide, scorecard criteria
- Transcript evidence
A specific passage from an interview transcript retained as support or context for an evaluation finding.
Also called: evidence anchor, transcript passage
- Risk signal
A finding that directs a reviewer to examine specific evidence or uncertainty. It is not an automatic employment decision.
Also called: red flag, review flag
- Candidate comparison
A review view that places candidate evidence and evaluation findings against the same role criteria.
Also called: side-by-side comparison, shortlist comparison
- Human oversight
Defined responsibility for people to review system outputs, consider context, resolve uncertainty, and make employment decisions.
